Enabling cookies To use several services, you must enable cookies in your browser. Our Web servers use cookies to help you sign in and for your security. See help on enabling cookies: Internet Explorer Versions 7.x - Click on the Tools popup-menu.
- Click Internet Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- Click on the Sites button - another window opens.
- Enter MakeSale.com in the text field and then click Allow. MakeSale.com will appear in the "Managed webistes" list below with a Setting of Allowed
- Save changes by clicking Ok.
Versions 6.x - Click Tools
- Click Internet Options
- Click the Privacy tab
- Choose Accept all cookies
Versions 5.x - Click Tools
- Click Internet Options
- Choose the Security tab
- Click the Custom Level button
- Scroll to the Cookies heading
- Click Enable to allow cookies that are stored on your computer
- Click OK
FireFox/Mozilla- Click on the Tools-menu.
- Click on the Options... item in the menu - a new window opens
- Click on the Privacy selection in the left part of the window.
- Check the Accept cookies from sites checkbox.
- Save changes by clicking Ok.
Netscape Communicator 4.x - From the Edit menu, choose Preferences
- Click Advanced
- Click to select the box labeled Accept All Cookies
- Click OK
Navigator 3.xx - Go to the Options menu
- Choose Network Preferences and go to the Protocols tab
- Choose Always Accept Cookies
Version 6.1- Click Edit on the Toolbar
- Click Preferences
- Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories
- Click Cookies
- Click Enable all cookies
Version 7.x- Click on the Edit-menu.
- Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens
- Expand the Privacy & Security selection in the left part of the window.
- Click on the Cookies selection.
- Under Cookie Acceptance Policy - either check the Enable all cookies checkbox or Allow cookies based on policy settings.
- If Allow cookies based on policy settings is selected, click on View and ensure that the level is at low or medium.
- Save changes by clicking Ok.
AOLAOL 9.0- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Internet [Web] Options
- Select Use your Internet Explorer Settings to set advanced browser options.
- Select the Privacy tab
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click OK to exit.
AOL 8.0- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Privacy tab
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click OK to exit.
AOL 7.0 with IE 6.x- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Privacy tab
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click OK to exit.
AOL 7.0 with IE 5.5- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Security tab
- Select the Custom Level tab
- Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click "Enable"
- Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
- Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings
AOL 6.0- From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings
- Select Preferences
- Select Internet Properties (WWW)
- Select the Security tab
- Select the Custom Level tab
- Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click "Enable"
- Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
- Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings
AOL 5.0- Go to My AOL
- Pick WWW
- Click the Security tab
- Go to Custom Level
- Scroll down to find Cookie
- Click "Enable"
- Click OK
AOL 4.0- Click on Preferences
- Select on the WWW button
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Select the "Accept all cookies" checkbox
Opera- Click on the Tools-menu.
- Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens
- Click on the Privacy selection near the bottom left of the window.
- The Enable cookies checkbox must be checked, and Accept all cookies should be selected in the "Normal coookies" drop-down.
- Save changes by clicking Ok.
